Thank goodness its Friday!

 

This week was a monster! All good intentions, minimal results,  went for a run, had a  proper, skidding over the gravel fall, 500m in, my leg is going to take a while to heal,

determined to still do what I came to do, kept on running, 1km on, the track has been closed for maintenance!!! So I turn around.  And this morning

with my to-do list in my bag, home made coffee to go in hand, get in the car, click-click-click, the battery is flat!

I love cupcakes, 

It is like a little paper wrapped bundle of joy, with a creamy dreamy centre.  Have you ever seen a little one's face light up at the sight of a beautiful cupcake, "is it for me, mommy?" wide eyed with wonder at this little creation, perfectly sized for the palm of her hand.

So now I wonder, I wonder, what will this next year bring, what will the direction be that I'll be going in?

I thought it was a rose, but I found out its not, maybe its a .... I don't know, we'll see, I'm no good at botanical's  anyway!

Dreaming my dreams

I Just love that song by the cranberries, dreaming my dreams of you, and there's no other place...

It brings back memories of High school, whimsical, I think that is something to aspire to, to be whimsical, I Love the word,

Adjective:	Playfully quaint or fanciful, esp. in an appealing and amusing way. Acting or behaving in a capricious manner.
Synonyms:	capricious - freakish - fanciful - odd - bizarre yes, definitely, I think so!!!

The Black Dog

This is my ode to the black dog, it comes and goes, but the only certainty is that it will be back, sometime, maybe soon maybe not,  I owe a lot of amazing work to the black dog, and a lot of growth, it is such a part of me, I cannot imagine "me" without him.

I Love Photography - Lens experiment

 "Photography is my first love, and it will be my last, photography of the future, photography of the past...."  OK I know that was really corny, but yes, I love it, it inspires me, it makes me want to paint or design, most things for me flow from a photo!

Washday

Creating things brings me happiness, washing, not so much.  This has been my challenge, getting to love the things that needs to be done

in order for me to have the time to do the things I want to do, some of them, like washing, hanging the washing, feels like it kills your brain cells just by

the endless repetition, and folding socks. 

 But...  I do love the smell of clean washing, it reminds me of sitting in front of my grandmothers washing machine, watching it tumble

around and around, the fresh linen smell filling the air, happy as!! 

I Love Risotto

I Have decided to call my first post "I love risotto" , Because I love making and creating stuff, all kinds , not just cooking but also...

(Ok, maybe not the type you need needle and thread for) I do like them, I just don't have the patience for those ones, but

anyway, this blog is not about the things I don't like, its about all the things I love, life, and everything else!
